Industries
A closed lot, an occupied building and an active yard need different operating instructions. Use these industry guides to identify the views, expected activity and response handoffs your monitoring service must address.

The industry name is a starting point. What matters to an operator is whether people are expected, whether the camera can show the relevant area and which contact can resolve an exception. Select a guide by the problem you need to plan for.
| Site condition | Examples | Input to prepare |
|---|---|---|
| Views change as the site operates | Construction sites, dealerships, truck yards and parking areas | A current area map, camera labels and a way to report new obstructions or moved equipment. |
| Legitimate access continues after normal hours | Retail stores, self-storage facilities and industrial sites | Opening and closing routines, deliveries, shifts and an exception contact. |
| Several parties share the property | Commercial buildings, shopping centers and multi-family communities | The boundary between shared and tenant areas, with an owner for each response. |
| Access permissions vary by area | Cannabis facilities and other sites with restricted areas | Area-specific instructions, authorized activity and the person responsible for permission changes. |
Record the areas to monitor, the hours involved, routine activity and the actions your team wants to outsource. Mark any view, equipment connection or contact arrangement that still needs review.
The site-readiness worksheet brings those inputs together. Industry guidance helps prepare the account; it does not establish compatibility, certify compliance or replace a review of the actual installation.
